If you see water leaking from the front of the machine, it's a clear sign that the door gasket needs to be replaced.
And unless you don't care about your appliances at all, you probably want to put them in the hands of a repair technician who has a high level of training, knowledge, and skill. If there is a drain pan or defrost tray underneath, then you should check for cracks and holes.
